Kayla Shaffner, MS, CCC-SLP, CPRCS

Hi, I’m Kayla. I’m a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist in Chico, California with experience working in a variety of medical settings and private practice, providing therapy to individuals of all ages—from birth onward. Since earning my Master's degree in Speech Pathology from Sacramento State in 2016, I’ve helped patients with executive function challenges/ADHD, traumatic brain injury (TBI), Parkinson’s disease, cerebral palsy (CP), developmental delays, autism, dementia and dysphagia.

My approach integrates traditional speech therapy with a holistic lens. I specialize in primitive reflex integration, individualized sensory support, and nervous system regulation. I believe in addressing root causes to support the whole person, fostering long-term growth and progress.

I’m a mom of two little boys and we have two bulldogs that we adore. We love being outdoors and exploring all the beauty that Butte County has to offer.
