Feeding challenges can impact nutrition, growth, family routines, and quality of life. At Impact Speech Therapy, we recognize that feeding difficulties are often influenced by multiple factors, including oral motor skills, sensory processing, regulation, medical history, motor development, and communication.
Our feeding therapy services are designed to help children develop safer, more positive, and more successful experiences with eating and drinking.
One of the things that makes Impact Speech Therapy unique is our collaborative feeding model.
Feeding challenges are rarely caused by a single factor. Depending on a child's needs, feeding therapy may involve support from a speech-language pathologist, occupational therapist, or a collaborative team approach.
